It all started with a school
talent quest.

A friend convinced 11 year old me to enter. I sat down at one of those old Yamaha keyboards every school seemed to have. I tried a few covers, hit three random chords and somehow stumbled into my first original song. That moment unlocked something in me. From then on I was hooked. School performances, youth group bands, church worship teams, writing musicals; if it involved music, I found a way to be there.

For ten years I served as a worship pastor, leading musicians of every age, background and skill level. It taught me how to build chemistry in a room, create an authentic sound and bring the best out of anyone who steps up to the mic.

Music is something we all share. It weaves itself into our everyday lives to add meaning, express feelings, and create memories.

So now, my quest has evolved. I am producing for others, writing with artists and crafting my own projects with a hint of vintage seventies soul. From shaping a song from the ground up, to drawing out an artist’s story, I love the process. Music has been my world for over twenty years, and I still wake up excited to make something new.
